I am not “vegan” or “vegetarian.” I am attempting to eat alkaline or anti-inflammatory. I have let go of meat, wheat, dairy, yellow corn, and white potato products. While it may seem like I don’t have anything left to eat, I still get full each day with foods that heal.
Morning:
- Raspberry leaf tea
- Green Smoothie (dandelion root, dino kale, pineapple, mango, kiwi, ginger, lemon juice, coconut water)
- Sometimes a bowl of quinoa flakes with raisins, almonds, and chia seeds
Lunch:
- Ginger and tumeric tea
- Black lentils, quinoa, dino kale, and butternut squash
- I may snack on blue corn chips
Dinner:
- Romaine lettuce salad
- or Kelp noodles with an almond butter sauce and mangoes, sweet peppers, and cucumbers
- or Smoothie bowl with berries, banana, almond butter, and ginger and topped with almonds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes
- Some times a cup of Dandelion Root tea
Throughout the day I drink plenty of water too!
