I am still on this journey to health in spite of this very eventful week. The same can probably be said for the last few months, but thankfully things will be settling down in the next month. With all of the things that are going on and we are preparing for, I found myself needing more nourishment. With the way I’ve been eating, it was too hard to get what I needed if I did not prepare in advance. That said, for the next month, I will eat eggs, fish, some potatoes, and some wheat products as needed to maintain energy. I still am trying to keep the focus on fresh and raw in the mornings and evenings, but I won’t stress myself out if I cannot eat that or just not eat. I am also trying to make sure I am drinking the dandelion root teas and ginger and turmeric teas to keep system functioning well.
I have finished the liquid supplements I started taking a month ago, and I will reorder them in a couple of weeks.
Outside of feeling tired before I re-incorporated eggs, I have felt pretty good. No abdominal pains. I have had a few headaches, which could also be the result of everything else going on and my cycle. No acne.
I will also say that I made a chocolate almond flour cake last weekend. While I did not add any regular sugar to the batter, I did use a store-bought frosting that contained sugar and some strawberry jam (also from the store) that had frosting. I exercised self-control and had SMALL pieces the days I did have some… and I made sure to share it with others so that it was no longer in our house.
